Terms of Service
Last updated: July 5, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of HoneyDone, operated by Continuance Labs, LLC DBA HoneyDone (“HoneyDone,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using HoneyDone, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
Beta service
HoneyDone is currently offered as a private beta. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice, and the service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis during this period. We'll make reasonable efforts to give notice before removing beta access or making changes that meaningfully affect your household's data, but we can't guarantee advance notice for every change during beta.
Accounts and households
You need an account (via Clerk) to use HoneyDone. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. HoneyDone organizes people into “households” — the data you and your household members create (tasks, projects, shopping lists, home information, and everything else described in our Privacy Policy) belongs to your household, not to us. We store and process it on your behalf so your household can use the product.
Anyone you invite into your household can see and edit shared household data, subject to the role and permissions your household assigns them. You're responsible for who you invite.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use HoneyDone for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, abuse, or harm another person.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or gain unauthorized access to HoneyDone's systems or another household's data.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service (e.g. excessive automated requests, attempting to bypass rate limits or authentication).
- Use HoneyDone to store or transmit content that is illegal, infringing, or that you don't have the right to share.
- Resell or provide the service to third parties without our written permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Subscriptions and billing
HoneyDone offers a free plan and paid plans with additional features. If you subscribe to a paid plan, you agree to pay the fees in effect at the time of purchase. Beta pricing and plan features are subject to change; we'll give notice before any change that affects a plan you're actively subscribed to. You can cancel a paid plan at any time; your household's data remains accessible on the free plan after cancellation.
Third-party integrations
HoneyDone offers optional integrations (Google Calendar, Gmail, Home Assistant, push notifications) described in our Privacy Policy. Connecting a third-party service is your choice, and your use of that third party is also governed by its own terms. We're not responsible for the availability or behavior of third-party services we integrate with.
AI-assisted features
Some features use AI models (currently provided by OpenAI, via Vercel's AI Gateway) to help organize the text you enter into HoneyDone. AI suggestions are provided for convenience and may be inaccurate or incomplete — you're responsible for reviewing and confirming anything AI suggests before relying on it (for example, a due date, a shopping item, or a task classification).
Termination
You may stop using HoneyDone and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the beta or the service generally — we'll make reasonable efforts to give notice first except where doing so isn't possible or appropriate (e.g. security or legal reasons). See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data when an account or household is deleted.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
HoneyDone is a household coordination tool, not a substitute for professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise), and we make no guarantee that it is free of errors, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose — especially during beta. HoneyDone and its AI-assisted suggestions may occasionally be wrong; use your own judgment for anything time-sensitive or important.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HoneyDone and Continuance Labs, LLC are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim relating to HoneyDone is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or, if you're on the free plan, to $100).
Changes to these terms
We'll update the “Last updated” date above when these Terms change, and will make reasonable efforts to notify active households of material changes. Continuing to use HoneyDone after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts serving Loudoun County, Virginia.
