Planning Board

The Planning Board (/planning) organizes your actionable tasks into columns by context mode.

Layout

Five columns, one per context mode:

  • Desk Work — computer-based tasks
  • Errands — out-of-home tasks
  • House & Yard — physical home tasks
  • Phone & Admin — call and admin tasks
  • Flexible — tasks that fit anywhere

Each column shows:

  • Task count
  • Total estimated effort (minutes)
  • Compact task cards with title, priority, and effort

Tasks without a context mode appear in an "Unset" section below the columns.

How to Use

  1. Open the Planning Board from the sidebar.
  2. Switch your active context mode to highlight the column you're working on.
  3. Identify batching opportunities — multiple tasks in the same column can be done together.
  4. Click any task card to view its detail page.
