Notifications
HoneyDone generates notifications to surface relevant work and keep household members in sync.
When notifications are created
- Mode switch: When you switch your active context mode, HoneyDone surfaces tasks that match that mode.
- Errand batching: When switching to Errands mode, if multiple tasks share a location, you'll see a batching opportunity notification.
- Collaboration events: When a household member proposes handing off a task to you, or when a task you've been waiting on gets resolved, you get notified.
- Pack generated tasks: When a Pack creates a new task for your household.
- Due date reminders: When a task you own is due today or overdue.
Notification bell
The notification bell appears in the top-right of the dashboard. Click it to see your recent notifications. Unread notifications show a count badge.
From the notification list you can:
- Mark as read — clear the unread indicator without dismissing
- Dismiss — remove the notification from your list
- Click through — tap the notification to jump to the relevant task, handoff, or shopping list
