Command Center

The Command Center is your household's daily dashboard — a single view of what's happening now, what needs attention, and how your household is running overall. It's designed to be your first stop each morning.

Daily Hero

At the top of the Command Center, a greeting shows the date and a summary of the day. It adapts based on what's on your plate — busy days look different from quiet ones.

Next Do

The Next Do card surfaces the single most important thing to handle right now, based on due dates, priorities, and your current context mode. Think of it as HoneyDone's recommendation for where to focus.

Household Load

The Household Load section shows how much active work each member of your household currently has. This makes it easy to spot imbalances — if one person is overloaded and another has capacity, you can redistribute tasks before things fall through.

Maintenance Pulse

The Maintenance Pulse card shows upcoming and overdue maintenance tasks for your home assets (appliances, HVAC, vehicles, etc.). If something is overdue, it surfaces here so it doesn't stay invisible.

Signals

Signals are real-time nudges from HoneyDone — things like "you have 3 overdue tasks" or "the grocery run is overdue." They give you situational awareness without having to dig through every list.

Coordination Queue

The Coordination Queue shows items that need a decision or handoff between household members — things waiting on someone else, shared decisions that need resolution, or items you've passed to a partner.

Rhythm Cards

The Rhythm Cards summarize patterns HoneyDone has detected in your household's activity — which days tend to be heavy, which domains pile up, and where things have fallen behind compared to your usual pace. See Rhythm for more detail.

How to use it

The Command Center is read-only — it surfaces what already exists in HoneyDone rather than being a place to take action. Click through any card to get to the relevant list or task. If the Coordination Queue shows items awaiting you, head to Coordination to resolve them.
